About me

 Jodie is dedicated to empowering communities experiencing food insecurities and ecological decline, to connect , grow and thrive together !  She  is a works in the UK and on humanitarian projects overseas. She is works as a consultant , a youthwork specialist,  a trainer and educator as is a registered teacher.

Community Education : She currently delivers community training  funded by the   charity The Workers Education Association.    Delivering free or low cost community courses ensuring that permaculture design education is accessible to a diversity of people and inclusive of everyone.

Design to Thrive Consultantancy  : supports organisations to increase their resilience by benefiting the communities and ecologies around them .  Using collaborative approaches of Participatory Action Research  and Permaculture design methods  to give voices to the people and  the places  that matter the most ,                                                Design to Thrive supports organisations:

She has worked freelance for  NGOs  and grassroots organisations, delivering a variety of trainings to marginalised communites including in  refugee communities  and project managing community youth programmes,  growing food and restoring ecologies
