Read more about this design Etihad Airways Sustainable Gardens Certified Educator, Karen Noon, brought sustainability and beauty to Etihad Airways Head Office in Abu Dhabi, UAE through four innovative gardens. The main reception courtyard was transformed into a low-maintenance, water-efficient border using among other things recycled wine bottles and baggage trolley tyres, featuring indigenous plants and a refreshing solar water fountain. Expanding from this success, two more borders were created, showcasing the potential of indigenous plants while reducing water usage. Additionally, a raised bed vegetable garden was implemented for the staff, and a composting system was put in place, completing the eco-friendly transformation.
