Teachers meeting March 2010

Permaculture teachers from across the country met at the Sustainability Centre in Hampshire in early March 2010.

The meeting was the first of a series aimed at developing education strategy. The meeting began with presentations from the Association summarising the current situation. Comments from the floor were captured and appended to the Workshop presentation files, available below.

Open Space Technology was used to identify and discuss themes. Topics included quality assurance, curriculum development, accreditation and continuing professional development.

A core steering group and several working groups were established to develop & implement the strategy.

The groups subsequently worked on actions that were identified at the meeting and reconvened at the convergence in September 2010.
