Oriol is from Barcelona, where he began working in environmental education with children and young people around 20 years ago.
In 2004 he travelled to Mexico to work in primary schools with environmental education projects, as protection of the coral reef and establish recycling programs in villages.
Two years after he attended a certified environmental education course of CIRENP in Barcelona, and began working with elementary students in there.
Since then he has worked with many international organisations and institutions, environmental programs with schools and Permaculture projects in different continents.
In 2011 he worked for a year and a half as one of the managers of the Permaculture educational centre The Panya Project in Thailand, working on the supervision of organic gardens production, natural building and sustainable homes, landscaping, community designs and food forests among others.
Nearby, in Rak Tamachat, he also obtained his certificate of Permaculture Teaching Training with John Champagne (2012).
He attended and participated in several Permaculture Design Courses (PDC), others in Introduction to Permaculture in Practice, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Eco-villages Design and Food forestry.
In 2015, he co-founded Organicplaygrounds.com cooperative in England, where he worked throughout the country with more than a hundred schools. During that time he also worked in the coordination of the children's area, at the International Permaculture Convergence in London.
A year later he was in charge of the permaculture and agro-tourism project ENOC, and has been part of the organisation of the (CEP) Spanish Permaculture Convergence 2016 and 2017.
In 2017, he has devoted more in depth to Permaculture and organic agriculture education with the erasmus + Bierutów, and Permaculture and urban gardens project with the Els Llorers public primary school in Barcelona City.
He currently holds courses, workshops and talks, and works as a consultant in the design and implementation of small and large scale Permaculture projects, you can know better visiting his web page at Permaculturactiva.com, and has just started Biojocs.com, a project to work with primary schools playgrounds.
He is also working on the creation of Permaculturaibera.org network and foundation, and is president of the permaculture association of north-east bio-region in Spain.
Recently in 2018 has been certified his Permaculture diploma at the Permaculture British Association.
