I am a diploma apprentice hoping to accredit in spring or summer 2011 and then go on to be a tutor.

I first came across Permaclture while living in a woodland on the West coast of Scotland. Having an ethical panic about moving back on-grid, and having the vague idea that Permaculture meant something about being sustainable I decided to go on an intro course. Permaculture turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

My current main interests/projects/things I am learning about are:
-Garden scale food growing
-Integrating animals into systems (with particular consideration of their natural behaviour)
-Sensory gardens for those with autism/learning disabilities
-Forest gardens
-Non-land based design in general
-Local Exchange Trading Systems
