About me

I am of portuguese origin, but I have lived most of the time in other countries besides Portugal (Germany, Italy, Spain).

I have completed my first PDC in Italy in 2015 and since 2016 started offering workshops and attending further specific courses. In 2018, I registered for the Diploma route with PAB, in 2021 took a Teachers Training and in 2023 finished my Diploma.

I have been working together with my wife in permaculture design and facilitation, deep ecology and regenerative activities for some years now. We currently collaborate with schools in Berlin, developing school gardens, offering them design support, consulting and environmental education. We offer activities and trainings related with permaculture, transition, regenerative lifestyles to children, young people and adults.

In 2017 we founded our personal project: "IN LAK'ECH Permacultura", with the aim of applying and spreading permaculture's concepts with children, youth and adults, co-creating regenerative learning communities and in the process developing regenerative learning spaces wherever we go.

Over the years, we have contributed to the design and implementation of several vegetable gardens, participated in natural construction projects, reforestation and soil regeneration campaigns, seed-saving activities, no-waste cooking and food preservation, offered various workshops and courses, offered language support and participated in various international meetings within the permaculture community.

At the moment, I collaborate in international projects with other permaculture teachers, tutors and groups based in Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and UK, within and outside the International Permaculure CoLab (https://www.perma.earth/), as well as with the Transition Network.
