My name is Andrea I have an italian degree in environmental sciences and I have been working for more than 10 years with G.I.S: (Geographic Information Systems), cartography and field survey both terrestrial (Topography) and marine (Bathymetry). I have a very good background in nature science, in ecology and in all the related sciences: biology, chemistry, geology, physic, etc…due to my academic formation.
I have been a climber for Greenpeace since 2007 and since 2010 I am a climber tutor.
It is almost 10 years that we (my family and I) buy as much as possible organic food and in particular from local producers and, since 2011, we have a garden where we grow our own veggies. I also try to produce my own food as much as possible: bread, pizza, tofu, kefir and fermented food. I took my PDC in 2013 in Italy with the Istituto Italiano di Permacultura and the Diploma in Applied Permaculture in 2016 with the Permaculture Association.
I have decided to start the Diploma because I strongly believe in the Permaculture ethics and principles and I would like to work and have a yield (in terms of products and profit) out of Permaculture.
I am interested in gardening, regenerative agricolture, food forest, natural building and ecology in general.
