Urban greenspace and permaculture inspired growing
Early days at the farm enjoying home made strawberry ice cream

Oxford City Farm is a Charity that is turning a derelict brownfield site into a community greenspace and permacultural learning centre. We got a lease for 40 years in 2016.

We host school groups, volunteering sessions, dropins, pop-up cafes, and private groups.  We aim to create an accessible relaxing place to be and learn for everyone.

We have a small part time staff team and loads of dedicated and skilled visiting volunteers who look after our sheep, chickens, bees, fruit, veg and nut crops.  We use no-dig and forest gardening techniques, we have rainwater harvesting and a composting toilet and a rescued from demolition kitchen classroom.

We have lots of wildlife apart from humans visiting the farm including a sparrowhawk, foxes and badgers, some are more helpful around the farm than others.

Please get in touch if you'd like to come and visit.

If you would like visits, how should people arrange their visit?
