The 2012 Permaculture Association’s convergence will be held on the August bank holiday weekend Friday 24th to Sunday 26th at Coed Hills Rural Art Space in South Wales.

This is a really popular, sell-out event for members of the Permaculture Association with great food (home-cooked vegetarian), great workshops, great entertainment and great people.

If you aren't currently a member, don't worry; it's really easy to become one - you can do it online, here

The event is fast approaching - if you haven't yet booked, please do.

But what is a permaculture convergence? This article was spotted and sums one up quite nicely...!

We hope you will join us even if mae hi'n bwrw hen wragedd a ffyn (it's pouring down)!

Coed Hills is a wonderful spot beloved of many visitors, with a market garden, forest garden, woods, and beautiful artworks placed in harmony with the landscape.

Only 12 miles from Cardiff and on a bus route, it's easy to get to the convergence by train and bus. More travel info...

All meals from Friday evening until Sunday lunchtime are included.
Coed Hill's own market garden will provide lots of the fresh ingredients for delicious food throughout. Cakes, wholesome snacks and hot drinks will be available from our café outside of mealtimes.

Once again members have made a great programme of workshops. If you have the stamina you can attend more than 20 workshops over the three days!

There'll be plenty of time though for relaxing and meeting up with more than 200 others. This time we've increased the space for networking with the gorgeous big barn at Coed Hills set up as the cafe bar with music and seating.

Kids activities for 5s and up will run alongside the workshop programme. Based in the fantastic Double Tipi, there'll be crafts, forest school activities, and exploring in nature for kids and parents.

A dedicated team of CRB checked volunteers are running the activities.
