Coed Hills is located in South Wales, just half an hour west of the capital city Cardiff. Its address is:

Their telephone number is: 01446 774084

Website: www.coedhills.co.uk

It is in a beautiful rural location, 5 miles away from the nearest train station, with good bus links.

By train:

(If you are booking your train tickets online with The Trainline please consider Give as you Live, it sends a donation to the Permaculture Association and it costs you nothing extra! It's at www.giveasyoulive.com/join/permacultureassociation )

The closest train stations are Llantwit Major (4.6 miles) (then you could take the V2 bus) and Pontyclun (6.3 miles) but we recommend arriving in Cardiff and continuing on your journey by the X2 bus.

By bus:

The X2 bus service runs an hourly service from Cardiff and Portcawl. Click here for the timetable. Although it does not include St.Hilary, the stop is between Bonvilston and Cowbridge (both are listed).

The V2 bus service runs from Llantwit Major to St. Hilary.

There is a little bus stop on the A48 that will drop you just outside St. Hilary. You will need to ask the bus driver to stop at St. Hilary as it is a minor bus stop.

From this point follow the brown highways sign to "Coed Hills". Within 50 yards take the very next left past the red telephone box. If there's no telephone box turn back.

After 400 metres there will be a turning to the right that says "Coed Hills", please do NOT turn into this gate - it is a drive leading to a private residence.

Just a little way along up a slight rise in the road there is a green sign saying "Coed Hills Rural Artspace".

Lift share:

Can you offer space in your car? Would you like a lift to the convergence?

A page has been set up on the Freewheelers website to hopefully connect the two.

By car:

From the M4: Leave at Junction 33 and get onto the A4232 south towards "Barry" for 3 miles. Leave that dual carriageway at the Culverhouse junction and turn right onto the A48 towards Bridgend. Go for 5 miles until you pass a huge radio mast on your right.  Just after that you turn left towards "St Hilary" (turning is just before the Loch Fyne fish restaurant.)

Drive down into the village and follow the brown highways sign to "Coed Hills". Within 50 yards take the very next left past the red telephone box. If there's no telephone box turn back.

After 400 metres there will be a turning to the right that says "Coed Hills", please do NOT turn into this gate - it is a drive leading to a private residence. Just a little way along up a slight rise in the road there is a green sign saying "Coed Hills Rural Artspace" in the entrance to a field to the right, this is the car park.
