Report written for Bryncynon Strategy to help inform the development of a four acre site within an ex-coalfield community using permaculture principles.

This four acre site was purchased by Bryncynon Strategy for the development of The Green Valley Centre. The Green Valley Centre is to be an exemplar of sutainable development providing, employment, training, enhanced biodiversity and organic produce through the regeneration of this derelict horticultural land.

At the point this report was commissioned the site appeared to present a number of problems. The main permaculture principle at work in this report is 'The Problem is the Solution'
