One day in two parts. An opportunity to learn about design on a real live community garden. Skills for your own project. This will be a fun interactive course. Part 1 PLANTS Arrive 9.45am 10 to 11.30am Permaculture and Trees for Wellbeing. This is part of a public event for Faversham Tree Week. It's an opportunity to get to know the Garden and the community through Trees and get to appreciate the amazing qualities of Tees and other plants for Food, Medicine and Wildlife amongst other things. Free/ donation. It makes the whole day a cheaper opportunity. Part 2 DESIGN 1 pm to 4pm. Through a structured design session starting with Observation, we will use a Design framework and apply permaculture principles and ethics. This is about People, Produce, Plants and Place. You will learn to apply permaculture design thinking to a developing the existing amazing Abbey Physic garden. We would like to have more Physic and see how we can create more wellbeing opportunities. to a £30 Part 2 is limited to 10 places please book.
