This course is based around practical activities supported by short, focussed theoretical sessions to help you gain a good understanding of how to apply permaculture to our unique climate and landscape. Learn about Permaculture; the ethics and principles of Permaculture Design, how to approach laying out a site, and practical applications onsite including: Wind and Water management (how to design wind breaks and swales), Introduction to Food Forests, Extending the growing seasons, Growing Mushrooms, Composting Systems, Polycultures and Guilds, and no-dig gardening. This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in Permaculture, and how you can apply it to marginal land to create sustainable abundance.
