All kinds of composting

Compost is beautiful. Learn all about it and the varying ways to make it on this course in Earthed Up!'s garden.

You will:
- Spend the day outside in a garden
- Get your hands dirty
- Discover the difference between cold and hot composting, vermicomposting and bokashi
- Learn the core concepts of compostable materials
- Take a deeper dive into vermicomposting (earthworms)
- Learn a straightforward way to make natural plant food
- Share lunch
- Be provided with hot drinks

Access
Please note, the garden is not accessible to most wheelchairs; access is up 2 large steps or over a high stile in the wall. There are uneven and wet surfaces in the garden. Children aged 0-1 are welcome. If cost is a barrier to participation in this course, please email us to ask about the possibility of a bursary place.
