Action learning pathway for my Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design, developed incrementally between 2011 and 2021 and with sustainability research and shamanic practice among its key themes.

The action learning pathway for my Permaculture Diploma, describing my learning and life journey over the decade it finally took me to complete my portfolio. Using the Design Web, it describes realationships among three main branches of design work: systematically applying permaculture to my professional life as a researcher in Human Ecology; grounding myself in home, garden and community while doing so; and later beginning to integrate shamanic practice as the foundation for my post-diploma life. It also provides orientation among my other diploma designs on this site, and forms a complementary pair with the Zone 00 design that closes my diploma.
