Costa visits Silk wood, Tetbury, England; a semi-natural ancient woodland, heavily managed for over 1000 years. Coppicing today keeps the site in touch with its history. Almost all our hardwoods in Britain will regrow when cut - coppicing creates habitats and livelihoods.
