Chris is currently the only paid Permaculture Research Coordinator in the world. Although universities and other permaculture organisations do great research, the work done at the Permaculture Association is absolutely unique. Without Chris and his team, this work will not get done. It costs around £25,000 a year for us to deliver our work, we receive no government funding and membership fees don't cover the research work.
