Community garden

Community garden next to Burgess Park in Southwark, London. Established as an urban food-growing project a decade ago, on a derelict concrete site. Since then we have created soil, ponds, a forest garden, and beds for growing a wide range of edibles. We have bee hives and chickens, and lots of resident wildlife. We operate on a shoe-string, with most of the work being led and carried out by volunteers.

If you would like visits, how should people arrange their visit?

Sustainable transport options
We are close to Old Kent Road bus-stops. We currently recommend that people travel to the garden by bike/ on foot, and avoid using public transport.
