Backsbottom farm lies in the beautiful valley of Roeburndale in North Lancashire.It has a rich diversity of habitats from blanket bog to ancient semi natural woodland. The farm has over 200 varieties of apple trees. As part of the project we are making cider vinegar by the Orleans method, woodland coppicing, sheep soon to be extended with more diverse livestock, a natural Flood Management demonstration site, forest garden and a small community living on site
