About this event

This one-day course will give you skills and resources necessary to • Assess existing vegetation, its potential and limitations • Design ground cover combinations that work for different scales and settings • Prepare, establish and maintain the ground cover • Propagate some useful ground cover plants and make a plan for propagating others The course will be taught as a mix of theoretical session, demonstrations and practical exercises. Tomas Remiarz has designed, planted and researched forest gardens for over 20 years. He is the author of “Forest Gardening in practice”, the first comprehensive review of the subject in print.

Cost is £30 Standard / £20 Very Low Income / £60 Benefactor Rate
