South West Skillshare Event: Financial Resilience: Making your Project Pay @ The Apricot Centre

Join us for a day at the Apricot Centre in Devon, where you will learn about how to create multiple income streams at your project in order to become financially resilient.
 

Experienced permaculture practitioner and project delivery specialist Bob Mehew will introduce you to the multiple income streams that make the Apricot Centre a commercially viable project.
 

Experience some of the key elements of his popular 'The eco-nomics of permaculture' course, focussing on business planning and finance.
 

Explore how you can develop different strands to your project to create greater financial resilience at your own project.
 

Take a 2 hour tour of the farm, where you will be given an overview of the project and how they have embedded permaculture design into their work.
 

Enjoy a delicious lunch and plenty of opportunities to share and network with other participants.
 

Places are limited to 30 people, to ensure that all participants get their individual needs met.

About the Apricot Centre 
The Apricot Centre is a 60 acre regenerative biodynamic farm.  Using a range of regenerative methodologies to design the farming systems we have an economically viable farm that is rooted in the ethics of Permaculture.    

It is based at Huxhams Cross Farm, a mixed farm that was designed using Permaculture Design processes.  They run successful wellbeing service working with families and children who have been through the adoption or fostering process. Their Nature Connection work  enables them to connect school aged students to the farm through school visits, cooking workshops and events.  

Their education service that sees up to 120 students taught in land based studies. They also run a profitable consultancy business, using Permaculture design processes to not only design at farm scale but also support farm businesses with business planning and finances.
