Event summary

In this first ‘Permaculture for all’ session, we want to hear and focus on experiences held by Black People and People of Colour within the permaculture community and associated groups. Do you see yourself in this group? We invite you to join so that we can listen and understand more about your experience.

Have you been involved in permaculture but felt marginalised? We are looking for people who have some experience in permaculture but have experienced barriers in access, practice and delivery. We would like to offer a complimentary membership to anyone who joins these sessions and is able to feedback in the Zoom sessions.

Earth care, people care, and fair share is for everyone. A permanent culture needs to be fully inclusive to remove systemic oppression, and violence against nature, and people. PAB wants to help create that world but we have to model the kind of future we want to create so that everyone feels welcome at PAB. We need to listen, learn and understand other people's perspectives to understand barriers. Through that dialogue, we can understand and then shift the culture to better reflect a more harmonious society.

Support us to become an anti-racist organisation and improve our practices to reach the most marginalised in society.

Do you want to be a part of this series planning and delivery? We are looking for volunteers who can help us to deliver these sessions, capture notes and help us build recommendations. Get in contact with [email protected] for more information.
