Course summary

The Willow Foraging / Shoulder bag is currently the most in vogue basket in town (and in the countryside too!).

This practical basket can be used for foraging, collecting driftwood, shopping or packing your flask and towel for a spot of wild swimming.

This 2-day workshop is to make EITHER the foraging backpack OR the shoulder bag from willow. Please state your choice when booking.

You will learn how to put the base together, add upright stakes, weave the sides with 3-rod wale and French rand weaves and put on a border.

Because there are more complex techniques involved than some other baskets, this willow workshop is more suitable if you have some experience of willow weaving (or attended any of our other willow workshops).

Take home your own unique and beautiful willow foraging / shoulder basket.  All tools and equipment will be provided.
