Course summary

This much loved hands on course on hedgerow herbalism run by medical herbalists Edwina Hodkinson and Danielle Kay moved online last year and has been extended for 2021. We are pleased to now offer a year long online course beginning in March, working with the seasons, connecting to wild and medicinal plants, learning how to work with them to create powerful plant medicines for a home medicine chest for everyday ailments and illnesses.
Each month consists of a 90 minute Zoom call where we do 2 live herb tastings and discuss the month's key herbs, plus lots more content...monthly herb walks, practical 'how to' videos and comprehensive handouts on the member's page. If you miss the Zoom call, the recording is put on the member's page soon afterwards.
This year we aim to build on previous years and go on the road more to visit different locations and check out the plants and people around the UK, look more at cultivating herbs in community medicine gardens, and get more into the wild food side of things, after all food is the best medicine.
We cover a wide variety of plants and teach how to make lots of different herbal preparations in a fun and relaxed style. Suitable for absolute beginners or those with more experience.
Early bird offer of £20 per month if you book before 28 Feb, or £25 per month after. We are also doing a free introductory Zoom session on 2nd March 7-9pm so you can check us out. To sign up or for more information see www.weedsandwildmedicine.co.uk.
This course is not training to be a professional herbal practitioner, however it will equip you to take care of your own and your family's health for common ailments and simple first aid using plants growing around you.
