Shave Horse Making Workshop

This full on two-day course will provide all the materials needed to construct your own shave horse with the expert guidance of Jamie Miller. The shave horse is one of the most useful devices for a whole range of green woodworking projects. You will learn how use traditional tools and green wood, and make a working shave horse complete with the all important vice clamp, which enables wood to be shaped by a drawknife. If you’ve always wanted to work in green wood but are not sure how to go about it this is the quintessential device - all you need to produce anything from a chair to a gate! Bring: warm clothes.
