Permaculture Growing Intensive - Theory & practice of permanent agriculture systems

Specialist - Forest gardening
Summary information

Permaculture is all about growing things together. But how can we create and maintain such mixed plantings? From annual vegetables and herbs to forest gardens and agroforestry, this course will give you the theory and practice of polycultures.

Most theory sessions will be held in the "Raven" community building. For practice and design sessions we will use a young forest garden, a mixed vegetable plot, an experimental 1 acre field, and the ecovillage Friland. The course is taught in English, and all plant names will be provided in Latin, English, Danish, and German.

Tomas Remiarz lives in England and has worked with forest gardens for 15 years and is involved in permaculture trials of vegetable and perennial polycultures.

Tycho Holcomb has more than 10 years’ experience with self-sufficiency gardening, wild plant foraging, and has a special interest in perennial vegetables and forest gardens.

Karoline Nolsø Aaen has years of hands-on experience with gardening and a sustainable lifestyle
