Summary information

The permaculture design course (PDC) is an internationally recognized, full design course resulting in a permaculture design certificate. The PDC serves as foundation for further permaculture work and studies. The trainer, George Sobol, is an experienced trainer and facilitator who has been organising and teaching permaculture courses since 1989. He was the co-ordinator of the Permaculture Association (Britain) from 1990–1994 and was the co-founder of the Permaculture Education Project that started in 1993. The course provides an introduction to the ethics and principles of permaculture and focuses on design processes to create sustainable lifestyles, livelihoods and communities.
