Course summary

This is the second PDC to be held at Laikipia Permaculture Centre (LPC), a truly unique setting and is one of PRI Kenya's key partner organization's. LPC is located in a drylands area and is also the focal point for the Laikipia Permaculture Project (LPP), working with the Maasai women's groups to create food security and sustainable livelihoods through permaculture. Participants will learn practical aspects of permaculture both at LPC and LPP, working directly with the women's groups, helping them develop their permaculture farms. The course takes place from September 13-27th, 2015 with PRI's lead instructor Joseph Lentunyoi and Nicholas Syano alongside guest trainer, Cesar Lozia.

Particpants will spend most of their time at LPC and four days at the Nabulu Women's Group, part of LPP, helping develop the permaculture designs at both places. This course will be a unique cultural experience offering participants the opportunity to learn about and from the Maasai people whilst helping develop food security and environmental regeneration in the area!

Save YOUR seat NOW! Courses such as these are amazing opportunities to share deeply and learn with local people from different cultures about concerns regarding future resiliency in the context of powerful and practical permaculture solutions. We discover that we are all facing similar challenges and opportunities all over the world!
