This is the annual Nottingham Permaculture Design Certificate course. Course leaders Paul Paine & Joe Atkinson - plus guest teachers and apprentices - will lead you through the following topics:

Design process frameworks, skills, methods & tools

Understanding soil ecosystems

Sustainable soil management

Soil building strategies

Intelligent water management

Aquaculture

Permaculture and the self

Permaculture and community building

The course will culminate in a group design exercise, where you'll have the chance to put your learning into practice.
 

There will also be visits to several inspiring local projects to see permaculture in action.

The course is certified by the Permaculture Association. Graduates will be eligible to apply for the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design.
