The course is run over four 3day weekends: Sept 7th-9th, Oct 12th-14th, Nov 9th-11th and Dec 7th-9th - an excellent way to learn and to integrate what you learn into your life as you go.

Course summary

You’ll learn how to use permaculture principles, design tools and practice a) in your own life, b) to contribute to the processes in the Transition movement, c) for community projects and d) to improve sustainability in your workplace. The course also covers eco-building, sustainable energy, sewage, composting, eco-community, appropriate economics and much more. Helf over four 3day weekends the course will build a strong senes of community amongst its participants. It is being run in association with The Bay Trust - an environmental education charity leading a wide range of not-for-profit sustainable community activities in the East Kent area and working to promote healthy, sustainable living.
