Cost Sliding scale: £650 to £850, 4 concessions at £500 Course summary The course will take place at Park House on 12 acres of arable land, woodland and gardens four miles from Norwich city centre. We will build design skills in six broad learning areas; forest gardening, polytunnel/kitchen gardening, buildings permaculture, woodland management, grassland management and agroforestry. To support the application of permaculture principles we will be bringing in specialist guest tutors who will offer design knowledge on woodlands, buildings, polytunnel/kitchen gardens and ecological systems. Two off-site visits are also planned. One will be to the Norwich Farmshare, the local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project developed by early participants in Transition Norwich.The second will be to Wakelyns Agroforestry project in Suffolk.
