Our weekend course aims to bring people together who are curious about engaging in nature. This is about learning through being, having time and space to slow down, appreciating the little things, forming connections with the human and more than human world. We will invite participants to take part in facilitated experiences, practices, conversations, games, song, storytelling, and spending time alone in nature.
The aim of this course is to provide opportunities to connect with nature and to reflect on the benefits of strengthening that connection through a series of facilitated activities and discussions. It is not an ecology course, but there will be plenty of opportunity to explore the 40 acre nature reserve. We would ask you to think about why connecting with nature is important for you and to be prepared to share any thoughts on this that you are comfortable about sharing. We expect to learn a lot from each other and from the place itself. Most of all we look forward to a fulfilling and enjoyable weekend in each others company.
Vegetarian/Vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, along with refreshments. Due to the nature of the course, participants will be invited to stay at the Centre overnight, and there are a range of accommodation options available including camping, shared dormitories, or rooms with en-suite facilities in our EcoLodge.
