Course summary

This course will cover the basics of forest gardening in a day, we will look at the origins of this popular form of perennial food growing and how it relates to woodland management, forests & permaculture. The day will include identifying which plants work well in a temperate climate, and city, plant relationships, and a design exercise on paper (which can be your own garden). This will all take place is the inspiring setting of Spitalfields City Farm which now has 3 examples of forest garden.
