This comprehensive workshop aims to provide participants with practical skills in mushroom cultivation, covering various techniques such as log drilling, cutting and turning your garden buckets/old laundry baskets into a home for mushrooms. Alongside this practical workshop, you will also learn about the science of fungi and how best to optimise your garden to attract different species that can benefit both your kitchen and wildlife. At the end of the day, you’ll be able to take home a plethora of cultivated logs and straw baskets ready to fruit for future seasons.This course is for anyone with a growing interest in fungi and mushroom cultivation. If you would like to learn how to grow a variety of mushrooms on a small scale then this course is for you. You do not need to have any prior knowledge of fungi or mushroom cultivation.
