Coming into harvest season and early autumn we will witness the passing of the high summer floral energy and the beginnings of the haws, berries and medicinal roots as the year’s bounty is transformed into rich juicy nourishment that can support our health and systems going into winter. We’ll look for Hawthorn and Elderberries as well as later summer flowers like Yarrow and Mallow, and study the roots like Dandelion and Burdock to learn about their edible and therapeutic benefits in this change of season, methods of harvesting and preparation into preserves & winter tonics, and folklore stories & history. £40 per person. £100 for all three day events (together with 16 April and 10 September) if booked together.
