The courses will kick off at the end of January 2016. The LEAP (Learning, Employability And Progression) Horticulture courses we’re running are nationally recognised accredited qualifications with various modules, each worth a number of credits. They are both based mainly on horticulture, and have some employability and social elements as well. You will get the opportunity to work with a great team nurturing your green thumb and taking part in lots of fun and interactive horticultural tasks like planting, propagating, weeding and digging. We still have spaces available for the Entry Level 3 (four week course) and for the Level 1 (six week course). Both will be carried out on the Tuesday and Wednesday of each week, beginning on Tuesday 26th January. The groups will be mixed together for some of the time – meaning some elements of both courses will be shared giving a broader, more in depth course to both groups.
