Hosted at Walnut Farm, a permaculture demonstration site in Norfolk, it is for anyone who believes that we need to find ways to care for ourselves, for each other and for the Earth. Together we will explore ‘what is permaculture? Look at how permaculture originated, some of the key theory and the important ethics at its core. We Explore how to use “design tools” and principles, alongside practising and honing observation skills. We Investigate the possibility of permaculture and its applications in a number of different situations. Who is the course for? This course is open to anyone and no prior knowledge of the subject is needed. No prerequisites are required in the form of a qualification. If you are not sure if permaculture is for you – this will allow you to dip your toe, and test the water, helping you to decide before taking that giant leap to undertake a full permaculture design course.
