Course summary

A 2 x day course certified by the Permaculture Association and delivered at Philips Park in Whitefield by Liz Postlethwaite, Permaculture Designer and Director of Small Things Creative Projects. It will take place in the beautiful vegetable gardens that have been created at the park by Incredible Edible Prestwich and District.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Anybody who is interested to explore how they could use Permaculture Design in their everyday life to help reconnect with the natural world and to create gardens, homes, projects, relationships….with a stronger ethical, ecological and regenerative focus.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN:

Learn about the Permaculture Ethics and Principles and think about how they can be used in your life.
Learn a range of Permaculture Design tools and think about how you could use them in your garden and in your wider life.
Explore examples of Permaculture projects that people have developed at home and in their local communities.
Explore practical ways that Permaculture Design can be used within everyday life.
Learn more about the Permaculture Network and explore how to get more involved with in once you have completed the course.

The course will take place on from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 18th June and Sunday 19th June 2022.

The park is easily accessible bike and can be accessed on foot from Whitefield (15 minute walk) or Prestwich (20 minute walk). Transport support will be available on request for those who need it from Whitefield tram station.
