Dates and times 9 Mar 13 Cost 110euro/concessions available Course summary A two day workshop designed to (re)connect us to our surroundings & to each other & to up-skill for a more self-reliant way of life. Come & learn how to use a permaculture approach to create simple solutions for sustainable living systems which meet our needs and regenerate the environment. Over the two days we will introduce some of the basic permaculture concepts & themes see some applications of permaculture in a variety of contexts raise our awareness of our own surroundings, land & people-scapes begin to develop our own solutions: explore how we can create our own more abundant, self reliant, fair & ecological ways of living & do some hands-on, practical work onsite. We will be exploring both land based & other applications of permaculture (community, personal, economic) No prior knowledge of Permaculture is assumed, & you are welcome to bring along stories, maps & photos of your own homes, garden, farm, or community projects. We will use a variety of learning methods; presentation, discussion, debate & questioning, hands-on practicals, learning by doing, observation, experiements & games.
