Course summary

Many people have attended this course with a view to setting up their own farms or communities in different countries of the world. They have been inspired by the innovative and low impact systems that we offer. The world has reached peak oil, peak phosphorus and peak potassium now the world is facing a food disaster if we don't start recycling and growing food without the chemicals NPK. While many people are leaving the land to join cities we are teaching how to live off the land sustainably and avoid food insecurity.
We demonstrate how to make your own NPK with the HH-2 Superfast Composting system and grow abundant food while increasing your SOIL FOOD WEB. This is how to feed humanity and preserve and regenerate the environment at the same time, but with very high yields and with very little work, A constant theme in Permaculture.

Come and see Permaculture in action. Ethics and principals talked about in informal setting with Richard Higgins who teaches in Africa and other countries. We are on an old part of the 120 acre High Canons Estate – informal walks through our 3 acres mature woodland and forest edibles, over the stream to our 1 acre Micro-farm. This is the home to our new post & rail/straw bale kitchen. See our new Bee hives. View our own design raincatcher polytunnels and our own design clay rocket stoves that make biochar. Contour raised beds for water management and the HH -2 moveable compost factory that permanently digests all wastes from the local cattery and kitchens, our HH -3 compost toilets. That you can build yourself. This will prepare you for a full design course.
