Permaculture offers a practical approach to all aspects of creating
a sustainable future. Whether your interest is gardening, farming,
planning, building homes, community work, economic regeneration,
business or green lifestyles, the application of permaculture principles
can empower you to make a positive contribution towards a greener future.

This summer we offer a unique opportunity to join international
Permaculture teacher and designer, Richard Perkins, Director
of Integralpermanence.org and Maria Svennbeck, Director of
Holisticgardening.se and Transition Town Board member for this
powerful and engaging adventure into positive and practical design
solutions in all areas of sustainability,

On the beautiful Grävsta gård situated near Järna in Södermanland
we will live simply together on the land and explore the full range
of topics covered in Bill Mollison’s Designers Manual. We will also
explore aspects of community building, decision making as well as
many of the practical elements associated with permaculture such as
mulching, making an18 day compost, compost heated showers, bio char and much more.

Additionally on Grävsta gård there is one of Sweden’s first backyard
Aquaponics systems and we will also examine this fully sustainable
and closed-loop food-growing system.

Accompanied by films, presentations and skill shares in the evenings,
this course is a life changing event for many people. At the end of
the course participants will be awarded the Permaculture Association
(Britain)'s internationally recognized Certificate in Permaculture
Design which allows you to go onto further studies or design work.
