Dates and times 10 Aug 15 Course summary Building on the launch of our new co-op: Dragons Housing Coop in Llanrhaeadr, we are really excited to be able to announce that our next full, residential PDC will also be based in the picturesque Welsh border village. We will be camping at a local organic small holding, home to a artist/ grower and a yurt maker and their family and on the banks of a mountain stream feeding into the Tanat river. The location is less than a mile from the village and its facilities, including the new co-op shop, three pubs and a fully equipped village hall. We will also be linking with local housing co-ops in Meifod and Cefn Coch as well as the community venture in Llanfyllin, the Workhouse. This PDC has a special interest in co-operatives and community development and seeks to find practical solutions to the immense challenges we face collectively. The transition to a low carbon and sustainable economy is going to require many changes, not least the reinvention, reignition of local community and local economy.
