Free 6 week course for young people- inc. metalwork, leather work, stained glass, outdoor adventure, creative writing and drama.

Bridging the Gap is an accredited six week project based course offered by the Waldorf College in partnership with Stroud College.
Craft projects and hands on learning will take place outdoors and involve the use of tools, raw materials and fire. Outdoor adventure activities are also a part of the course. Indoor learning will include drama, creative writing, art and cooking.
This six week course is about gaining confidence, finding strengths and beginning to work out what you want to do in your life. It is run by skilled craftspeople and teachers, classes are small with no more than 15 students.
After completing the course you may wish to continue with further learning at Waldorf College or move onto other appropriate courses at Stroud College.
Free places are offered to 16 -19 year old's if based in England and 16 before Aug 2010. For people just outside the age range and coming from other areas, paying places are available.
