Dates and times 11 Jun 16 More info 11am - 4pm Cost £25 including vegetarian lunch Course summary My moveable 'treebog' is a cross between a compost loo and an earth closet that allows me to collect urine for fertiliser, have a temporary (moveable) structure for convenience when gardening, plus allows a fuel coppice crop, fruit tree or soft fruit bush to be planted on the composted material in the 'hole' for fantastic growth and yield. All this without having to touch any poo! I will show you how to set one up from scratch as we move mine along and plant the next crop, probably a currant bush! Perfect for those who would like a workable, fly proof compost toilet without a lot of permanent infrastructure or investment, and no worries about managing the waste (though care must be taken with siting to avoid water ground water contamination). This workshop includes a tour of Foxfield and a vegetarian lunch , as well as some practical work.
