Permaculture is not just about gardening or growing food: it is a design process underpinned by the Permaculture principles and ethics.

On this Introduction course you will learn about the general principles of Permaculture at York's Centre for nature and green living - St Nicks. Please note that tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but that this is a bring and share lunch event.

St Nicks is the green heart of York: a centre for nature and green living. It is based at a former landfill site which is now a thriving Local Nature Reserve.

St Nicks Environment Centre was designed to exemplify sustainability, energy conservation and energy production from renewable resources.
