Has anyone else noticed we have approximately 3 weeks left of burning fossil fuels before we go past the IPCC's medium estimate for sticking to 1.5°C rise in global warming? Massive change is needed now. This tool from Mercator Research Institute gives a sobering view of remaining carbon budget (pretty much gone) and why sequestration via soil health, permaculture, Regenerative Agriculture, rewilding, ecorestoration and more is so urgently needed. What can I do now? There's plenty we can each do. Here's just a start: See more details of the tool at www.mcc-berlin.net/en/research/co2-budget.html Share permaculture solutions with others. The #WeLoveLiving campaign is engaging people in practical steps they can take - share yours using the hashtag and see resources at www.weloveliving.co.uk. If you're in the UK, you could join us at the national permaculture convergence in Manchester this September, to network with other people taking action, and to learn more about practical solutions.
