Benjamin van Ooij

Ben has found permaculture during his travels and chose to dedicate his time and energy fully to get trained and working full-time in permaculture since 2010. Working and connecting with many projects in different countries and climatic zones gave him a broad insight of what permaculture can bring to this Biosphere.

Ben works as project manager at the Biospheric Project, part farm, part laboratory and part research centre. Here he has now launched their own program, the Biospheric Urban Activities, full of tours, workshops, conferences and other events where you will find out more about the different food production systems and experience the urban agricultural revolution firsthand.
