About Willowburn Woods
Willowburn woods is a diverse 7 acre site with spruce, native trees and wetlands based in Leadburn in the Scottish Borders. James and his family have been managing it for the last 8 years to grow food, provide fuel and building materials, increase bio diversity and host courses. They aim to convert the 20 year old sitka spuce plantation into a productive hardwood coppice. On site you can find a self build small round-wood framed cabin, a bigger open woodshed and a polytunnel.

Accessibility
The site has accessible parking, quiet spaces and can accomodate service animals. However, we are are working woodland with grass paths, muddy areas, ditches and holes. The site is not suitable for anyone with poor mobility.
The event will be approx 100m from the accessible parking. We have some wooden benches but will need people to bring camping chairs if possible. Please also bring Mugs, plates, spoons etc.
