About me

I live in a beautiful coastal Highland village, surrounded by the Torridon mountains and run a 4 star B&B which also holds a Gold green tourism award. The small garden is run on organic principles with produce used in the business. I make enough blackcurrant, strawberry & raspberry jam to provide guests with preserves for breakfast. This makes the link between the garden, low food miles and great flavours at breakfast. Growing produce in a northerly coastal climate is a challenge, largely due to excessive winds.
Completed the Permaculture Design Certificate in 2012 at the Sustainability Centre.
Working on reducing my time inputs to the garden: the garden and business both require maximum input at the same time of year!
