Skills, technical expertise and areas of interest: 

Currently training as a Soil Food Web consultant. This is an in depth advanced process relating to compost, compost teas and compost extracts, reducing fertiliser use, increasing yields and disease resistance within the plant community.
Other training/ work is in Broadscale (whole watershed or farm scale) Design and Holistic Management. I am interested in wood gas as a motive fuel, charcoal/biochar. I keep bees and am engaged with our local association. Particularly interested in non land based designs, team/group/community designs, alternative economics – trading schemes, local economies.
Training in consensus work, strategic planning & project management.
I enjoy designing and making my own tools whenever possible.
